TRUCK PERMITS
. In order to open an IRP account in California, you would need several authorities such as a DOT, ICC-MC, BOC3, CA#, Motor Carrier Permit (MCP), Employer Pull Notice (EPN) if you are registered as an LLC or Corporation, UCR, IFTA, New Mexico, Kentucky, New York and Oregon depending on the states you will be traveling through. In addition, you will be required to start filing quarterly reports (fuel taxes) to the states and be enrolled in a drug and alcohol program which we also provide here.
Please keep in mind, in order to run out of state with IRP registration, the authorities need to be active first (DOT & MC numbers), and the MC number usually takes the longest, approximately 4-6 weeks to be active. During these weeks you must have your insurance post form 91X with FMCSA.
In order to maintain your California IRP compliant, you must have California miles and therefore will need the CA# and Motor Carrier Permit (MCP). Right now, DMV is taking 2 months to issue a Motor Carrier Permit (MCP), so please plan accordingly. Without this permit being active, you won’t be able to come pick up or drop off within California. You can still travel and maintain your operations as interstate but can’t pick up or drop off within California until permit is active.

LIEN SALES
Did someone leave a vehicle on your property and didnt leave any paperwork or contact info? In order to be able to take possession of the vehicle you would need to conduct a liensale. if the vehicle is valued under 4k the process takes around 45 days while certified letters get sent to any and all prior owners. if noone responds within that time frame the liensale gets completed and you can take that paperwork to register the vehicle!
